Your support provides critical funding in service of that vision, as we strive to provide an unparalleled environment for the development of new work and ideas and build understanding and appreciation for the role of art in society.

Embracing the new terrain of the COVID-19 pandemic landscape, Headlands held its 2020 Benefit Art Auction online for the first time in the event's history. Together with a companion fundraiser, the auction grossed over $625,000 in support of programs for artists and the public, with nearly $115,000 returning to participating artists. Additionally, 10% of proceeds – over $80,000 – were donated to Bay Area social justice organizations Anti Police-Terror Project and the Transgender Gender-Variant Intersex Justice Project.
