Curated Studio Visits in LA with Diana Nawi
LOT 25
Reserve your place for a day of curated studio visits with Diana Nawi during Frieze Los Angeles in February 2026. We’ll visit the studios of three Los Angeles-based artists and Headlands Alumni, and enjoy a curator-led tour with Diana of LACMA’s forthcoming exhibition by Tavares Strachan. In her prior work as an independent curator, Nawi organized several acclaimed US biennials in the past five years, including the 2023 edition of Made in L.A. at the Hammer Museum (with Pablo José Ramirez) and 2022’s Prospect.5 in New Orleans (with Naima J. Keith). She has also curated solo exhibitions for artists such as Mark Bradford, Michael Rakowitz, Adler Guerrier, Haroon Mirza, John Akomfrah, and Shana Lukter. Nawi has previously held curatorial positions at the Pérez Art Museum Miami, the Guggenheim Museum in New York, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.
